Unsolved Why did my Name changed?
-
In the Past i registered here my Account with the Name Fuel, but now after some Weeks my Name changed to Fuel 0. I cant change it back and want to ask what exactly happened to my Name and if its possible to turn it back to Fuel?
-
Hi,
Any chance you changed something else to your account ?
-
I changed my Emailaddress, but thats long ago. Since that i changed nothing only that i use this Forum from my Linux and my Windows OS now. Not at the same Time.
-
Ok, then did you login into any other Qt related service like the bug tracker or gerrit ?
-
No. I was thinking there is only one Service with one Account? I only login with the same Account.

You have 2 different accounts linked to 2 different email addresses:
Try logging in with your old email address.
and if its possible to turn it back to Fuel?
@tekojo, is it possible to merge accounts?

Maybe a half Year ago. During this Time i wasnt really active ins this Forum. But now im confused about the Name after i made some Posts in this Forum.
I found the old Email about the Change Confirmation, it was the 2.8.2017.

Hi @Fuel-0
I'll have our IT people look at this. Name and email changes should only be possible in the overall Qt account. -
How is it going?

Hi @Fuel-0,
We investigated this briefly last week and indeed there's a problem with Qt Forum when changing the email address via Qt Account. A new forum account is created when the email address is changed. We still need to figure out, what exactly is causing this and how to fix it.
Also, there's no simple way to merge users, but of course there's the final solution to do it via editing the database directly...
We'll let you know as soon as we know more. Sorry about the issue.
