Plasmoid won't attach to panel

Hi!
I intend to write a little plasmoid. I've never done this before (although I have some experience with Qt Quick), so I read this and this and created a little plasmoid from a QML/C++ template that for now just shows a colored rectangle. After installation it shows up in the list of widgets and I can add it to the desktop just fine. But I would like to put it in the Tool/Taskbar and it just wont attach there if I drag it down there. I cannot find a word in the documentation mentioning what I should do if this doesn't work. Can anybody help me out? It seems I'm missing something. Thank you. -
Ok, I don't know why I found the solution after posting here and not a few minutes earlier but this link helped me out. Thanks Dito!
