I just downloaded Qt creator 4.0.3 and whenever I try to run a new project, the system fails to build. The system says it can't find .pro file and whenever I go to the file, I find .pro.user file instead of .pro file. Is there anyone how to solve it? ( I tried to reset default build directory)

Hi and welcome to devnet forum

Did you try to build a project somewhere else?

I suspect that the non-common letters of your user name create the problem. Therfore,it may be worthwhile to create a folder c:\Source for instance and try to create there a project. Check if you got the same problem there.

      Hope that helps.
