    Hello,
I'm new to QT and just installed it via the online-installer. (Version 5.9).

After installation I wanted to just generate a project and test if it works. But each time I start a project it says "c1902 program database manager mismatch please check your installation" with a link to all cpp-Files.

I already searched on Google and the error appears to be from Visual Studio or something. I have a version of VS installed, but this can't be the problem, can it?

Do you guys have any idea what I could do to solve this issue?

    Thanks for your answers!

Well it seems like error is coming from that ?

It is visual studio 2015 you have installed ?

Did you try it alone to see if it works?

Hi, also you can try to compile your project in Release mode (no .PDB files are needed).

          Hello, thanks for your answers!

I've got Visual Studio 2015 Express installed. Regular programs in VS2015 compile as they should and there's no error.

I'll try that with Release-Mode, but are there any disadvantages if I use it like this "forever"?

          Edit:
Okay, I tried Release-Mode and it really works! :) Thanks for the hint!
