Unsolved Cannot create a AVD for ABI Install an image for it.
-
Hi, i work with Arch Linux and QT (qt-creator) to develop android applications. Lately AVD Manager does not open when clicked(checked the processes too and doesnt even try to open). When i select to create a new device, i get the "Cannot create a AVD for ABI armeabi-v7a(which i use). Install an image for it. All the images, sdk, ndk, java, are reinstalled and no solution. I used android-studio to update sdk packages but still qt doesn't see the images even though i can create projects. I also have a second problem though as i cant build the projects which used to run without a problem getting this error:
Buildfile: build.xml does not exist! Build failed Building the android package failed! -- For more information, run this command with --verbose. 19:11:46: The process "/opt/android-qt5/5.8.0/armeabi-v7a/bin/androiddeployqt" exited with code 14. Error while building/deploying project untitled1 (kit: Android for armeabi-v7a (GCC 4.9, Qt 5.8.0)) When executing step "Build Android APK" 19:11:47: Elapsed time: 00:12.
If anyone can help to these two problems i would appreciate it very much as i cant work right now.

I have exactly the same problem, if I am able to solve it, I will let you know how to

Ant doesnt work anymore, use Gradle and provide via cli the library missing for the AVD to work. Poor decision to drop android command....especially for qt developers

Which library was missing in your case?
I just got continously errors while compiling, now they are changed to an missing apk. error 16...
Its gonna be a long way, until it will work.
