Problem connecting NvApi to Qt

I want to connect NvApi to my Qt project, I followed the instruction along with the qt docs, on how to connect a .lib file to qt project, but when I make an include of nvapi.h, the compiler gives such error C2509: syntax error 'return'. Can someone please help, I don't know what could be the problem.

OMG! Solved the problem. If someone has the same problem just include windows.h, before nvapi.h
