Qt creator doesn't pick up gtk theme

Qt creator doesn't pick up gtk theme.

The most recent version of Qt creator uses GTK icons, but doesn't use GTK theme, it falls to built-in gtk theme in qt (blue-grey). Tested it on cinnamon and xfce.

How to enable GTK theme? Am I the only one facing this issue? If not, why is the bug still hasn't cahged status to confirmed or something :\
