Cheese is a program that takes image from web camera.. The moment that is supposed to take the picture it makes the screen be white for 1 sec and at that second it takes the picture.. it's like flash at mobiles.. can i do something like this?
Show a fullscreen, nondecorated, always on top, white widget --- probably you need to hack it a bit, but that's the idea.
Maybe QSplashScreen help...
One second is a bit long perhaps though...
