Want to impliment three functionalities in my QT GUI

For the region thing. You can look at rubberband.

Can explain for your comment on region and how to get Capturte WIndow

For Region , you need to be able to drag and mark an area.
Rubberband can help with that. The select Area part.

For window, Should that be for other windows than those belonging to your app?
If yes, you need some way of enumerating all windows. Not sure Qt offer cross platform way.
