https site not able to access local server
if i load an https site for some reason it cannot access a local server running. This works fine in local browser but not through qtwebengine. As my other question is there a flag that i am missing?

Well hard to say...
Can you maybe provide the piece of code where you try to access the local server and some more information about "it does not work"?
yes, i will write an example and share it.
The thing is when i say it 'does not work', is that the request are actually not even arriving to my local server (for any of the paths data should be access). That is why I though is maybe referring to some security configuration of qtwebengine (not allowing request), as Chrome and other browsers do actually contact my local server.
so I have track this to an issue open in chromium.
It is an iissue with the version of chromium QT webengine usses (49.0.2623.111) newer versions of chromiums don't have this issue. Is there any plan in upgrading or applying patches?

@kanekotic Qt 5.8 uses chromium 53. It is scheduled to be released next week, on the 23rd of January 2017
