Been looking for a while, but cannot find any exact details as to what can be used as a platform scope in a qmake file.
I know I can use win32, unix and macx as well as anything that matches a mkspec, e.g. win32-msvc2008.
But is there a description somewhere of exactly what I can use, and exactly how these are matched against the actual platform where qmake is run?

Yeah, I've used it for other things in the past. Not really up-to-date, and most of the things there have found their way into the real qmake documentation, including most of what it contains about platform scopes. But thanks anyway.

maybe you could look in the sources to see which parameters are set.

Yeah, well, that's a good answer to any question here I guess... look in the source code. :)
