    Hi,

    I've been searching everywhere for an example on how to use the Xembed class in Java, but can't seem to find one. There's a good example of the C++ version here http://doc.trolltech.com/solutions/qtxembed/, but is this even supported for it in Java? I realize it might be possible to access the C++ libarary from my Java program, but I prefer not to get into that and am looking for a Java-based capability to embed a Unix terminal into my program.

      This forum specialize's on Qt and C++ related development. From your post it seems you want it working in Java and this might not be the right place to get Java expertise. You should try posting this in some Java forum.

        I'm not sure solutions are included in Jambi. Possible ways for you are:

        1. Use C++
        2. Link C++ library to your java-code (not good way, becuase you will probably have two copies of Qt in deps)
        3. Write this library yourself in Java.
        4. Find some Java-based library (not Qt related)
