I am new to Qt and I am trying to figure out how to get Qt properly setup for my preexisting game engine in VS2015. I am attempting to make a ParticleEditor that is an overlay menu but not exactly sure how to start. The ParticleEditor is a seperate project within the game engine solution. As a note, all projects generate a dll that I can use to call functions in my ParticleEditor.

How can I access my game engine window from my qt project and display buttons on that window?
