Installation error insists I don't have Xcode
When I try to install Qt SDK, a pop-up window says that "You need a C++ compiler to be able to install the Qt SDK. Please install the latest Xcode first before invoking this installer!"
Do I really need the latest Xcode 4? It costs money. I have Xcode 3.2.6 that I downloaded for free and used for school assignments.
According to "this link":http://www.tuaw.com/2011/03/09/apple-releases-xcode-4-free-for-developers-4-99-for-everyone/ it doesnt seem to be cost prohibitive through the App Store.
XCode 3.x should be sufficient.
