QtCreator Qt 5.6.0 VS2015 - don't accept compilers

  • Hi there.

    I install OpenSource Qt 5.6 VS2015 64 bit for windows with QtCreator + VS2015 Community on my Windows 10.

    Qt Creator recognize some compilers as expected:

    • Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 14.0 (x86)
    • Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 14.0 (amd64)
    • Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 14.0 (x86-amd64)
    • Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 14.0 (x86_arm)
    • Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 14.0 (amd64_arm)

    But I got error when configure project:
    "The compiler "Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler 14.0 (amd64)" (x86-windows-msvc2005-pe-64bit)
    cannot produce code for the Qt version "Qt 5.6.0 MSVC 64bit" (x86-windows-msvc2015-pe-64bit)."

    It's not a typo. It recognize my msvc2015 (14) as msvc2005.
    The same thing with 32 bit profile. I have tried reinstall all (Qt and VS) - but no luck.

    How I can fix this?

  • Delete this file
    C:\Users\Alexander.ALPROGPC\AppData\Roaming\QtProject\qtcreator\toolchains.xml
    solve problem.

    Thanks! :)
