Stop resizing the QSplitter in Vertical Diection

I have a Qwidget and I am using Qsplitter as follows
//2 is for vertical split
horSplitter = new QSplitter;
dverSplitter = new QSplitter;I the widget is split in horizontal and vertical direction. Now I want the user should be able to change the size of widgets in Vertcial spilt . Can we add such constraints
