    Is there any reason why QTextEngine::atSpace() doesn't use QChar::isSpace()? I would like to use zero width space as date component separator in QDateEdit but zwsp is not treated the same way an ordinary space is. Should this be considered a bug?

      If the treatment is explicitly different for zero width spaces, then it is not a bug.

        It is not. Here is the important part of code:
        @ return c == QLatin1Char(' ')
        || c == QChar::Nbsp
        || c == QChar::LineSeparator
        || c == QLatin1Char('\t')
        ;

          To me it looks like a bug.
          I would create a "Jira":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa issue for it.
