      Please tell windows/linux/? and explain more
      "cannot be changed"
      Its grey ? you cannot type or delete it ?
      Its not there?
      Its Options->Build & run ->General tan you talk about?

        @mrjj : Windows... The "Default build directory" field can be edited and apparently "apply"-ed but the build directory remains as the "reset" value regardless.

          so nothing is created in new place when you select rebuild all?

          I have mine to a ram drive (e:)
          e:/build-%{CurrentProject:Name}-%{CurrentKit:FileSystemName}-%{CurrentBuild:Name}
          and that works.

          Are you using the sessions feature ?

                    @mrjj I hit the topic tools button and there are just 4 items to select from: favorite, twitter, facebook, google+...

                        @mrjj : I click on "Topic Tools" and there are two options: delete, or ask as question... am I to assume that "delete" means solved?

                          no no that deletes it.
                          Well, for some reason it dont have resolved.
                          edit first post (via the gear) and add [SOLVED] in title
                          then it must be fine.
