I'm trying to get Qt Creator 3.5.1 running on my Windows 7 Enterprise box. It installs just fine, but when I try to launch it, nothing happens. The process does appear in Sysinternals' Process Explorer as it loads up, but then it just dies. There are no error messages or anything else like that to help diagnose what went wrong.

Looking at the Windows event logs, I get this for Qt Creator:

Faulting application name: qtcreator.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x561c8ab4
Faulting module name: ig4icd32.dll, version: 8.14.10.1930, time stamp: 0x4aba6fc2
    Exception code: 0xc0000005
    Fault offset: 0x002095ed
    Faulting process id: 0x1458
    Faulting application start time: 0x01d1217fb0580a8a
    Faulting application path: C:\Qt\qtcreator-3.5.1\bin\qtcreator.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\ig4icd32.dll
    Report Id: 0aaecc12-8d73-11e5-99b9-001b211d427b

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

@hskoglund That solved the problem! Thanks!

Heh, I should've known this could crop up. I saw a similar issue on Linux a while back too. Go figure...
