I want to make a part of my application user configurable. Basically a user should be able to create a custom UI with something like a Qt Quick designer. Is this somehow possible?
I found some solutions for live coding with QML. It would be even more awesome if users could drag and drop a set of Items to generate code like Qt Designer does.

Hi Qt Quick Designer relies on big parts of Qt Creator. Therefore embedding the designer into your own application would mean you have to embed most of Qt Creator.
What I would try is to down strip Qt Creator a little bit and then run Qt Creator/Qt Quick Designer as a separate application to design your UIs.
