Need suggestions to improve the front end?

Hello,
My app is a server application that listens on specified port and ip.On the header the ip address ,port no are editable. my UI looks like this. if you click on the Detailedview button it will navigate to this view.I am quite disappointed with my header and took much white space on the screen. Can any one suggest me some changes I can make so that it looks better and more elegant. Thanks a lot

update1: new look is here.But still header is looking horrible. :( any suggestions please?
