Quick and Raspberry Pi. Speed problem.

Hi. I'm testing a qt quick application on Raspberry Pi.
The app is very simple. Only an object that changes state every 30 seconds.
On a Linux pc the app works normally but on Raspberry Pi it is very slow and the cpu is very consumed.
Is there a way to have more speed on Raspberry Pi? Up to now Qt Quick is unusable on Raspberry Pi.
