Qt Creator 3.3.2 white text in search tools

I installed Qt Creator 3.3.2 on a windows 7 machine and the settings for the environment theme and the text editor's font and color scheme is set as default, like it was installed.
When envoking the search tools, the text is almost white and you have to select (highlight) the text in the search box to see what you have entered.How can i fix this?

@theunsheydenrych I rebooted the Windows machine and it was fine again.
