I just upgraded to Qt 5.4/QtC 3.3 and have found debugging on Windows (via CDB from VS2013 Windows Kit 8.1) completely unusable. As soon as you hit a breakpoint one of my CPU cores spikes to 100% and CDB starts consuming hundreds of MB of memory. At some point it responds (15 seconds or more), but, when you step, it happens again. I've tried it on multiple machines with the same result. End result is you cannot debug.

I've seen other posts about this for previous versions that typically go answered.

    What's going on?
