    Hello there

I am wondering whether there is a way to alter the way qt handles mouse and keyboard, desktop/system wide.

For instance I use a french keyboard, but in Qt apps, [^] key just does not trigger any action.

Another example : I am used to move horizontal scrollbar with [shift] + mouse-wheel,
which is the default in many gtk applications... but Qt defaults to [alt] + mouse-wheel :
I would like to deactivate default behavior and set mine instead ?

I have googled terms like "Qt input methods" but those are a level too high I guess :
it is about combining letters together to form glyphs, where what I want to do is assign keys to actions...?

    thanks guys
