I am brand new with the QT editor, and trying to just get a compiler configured. I think I successfully made a kit in Build &Run >> Kits, and in the compiler tab I have auto-detected microsoft visual c++ compilers, but QT doesn't seem to be recognizing them. How can I make or get it to use a compiler? Thanks

To use MSVC to compile Qt applications, you need to have a Qt version compiled with the same compiler, too. I suspect you might be using Qt compiled by another compiler (MinGW or other MSVC version).
