Are there any existing Qt sample that is similar to Windows XP or 7's resource explorer. That is, there is a folder tree in the left panel and for each tree node, the items under the node will be displayed as gallery view or file list in the right panel.

Yes there is a class provided by Qt in order to make ExplorerQFilesystemModel
