[SOLVED] "YouTube view example" doesn't display video on OSX – known issue? (YES)

I've searched the forums but didn't see any mention of this:
Running the "YouTube view example" from Qt 5.3 on OSX 10.9.3, the project loads and the youTube videos play but only the audio works – the video doesn't display.
Is this a known issue (with OSX?, with QML + WebKit?)
OK - so this is apparently a known issue with HTML5 video on OSX

https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-31781That example should be removed from OSX builds so that people (like me :( ) don't waste time on it. Or at least add some notes/disclaimer.
