I need a pixel-accurate QSlider and I was thinking of something like this for the handle:

The default handle for QSlider when ticksPosition is set to TicksAbove is just perfect, it preserves the OS default palette and has a pointy end. But the forced "ticks line" bothers me.

Is there a way of obtaining this kind of handle without the "ticks line"? Or can someone hand me the corresponding stylesheet code? Thanks in advance.

PS: I am using Qt Creator 3.0 with Qt 5.2.0 version
