Overpaint pictures

Ok so i am new to QT and i am having some problems with something like this:
!http://postimg.org/image/hbsa17bin/()!(A scrollbar with the handlers like images)
But when i scroll them one through the other what happens is:
!http://postimg.org/image/ayc6xbnst/()!
Is there anyway to not over paint the sad face over the happy one?
