Hello Qt enthusiasts & fellow Trolls,

By way of ‘Re Introduction’ my name is Gerard Loughran and im a proud Troll (from the Brisbane Qt/Qtopia/Qt Mobility Clan  ).

Its been a while since I posted on this forum, in fact the last time was probably release notifications about Qt Mobility, as I was previously the product manager for that Qt based product, and before that the Global Director for Professional Services at Trolltech.

But times have changed and today I have something else to be very proud of, specifically the launch of a new company:
Qtomac Pty Ltd, are Digias newest Professional Services Partner, following in the hallowed footprints of KDAB, ICS, BasysKom and E-Gits.

Qtomac will focus exclusively on the Australia & New Zealand territories and deliver (via other ex Trolls, Senior Developers/Consultants) Training and Engineering services to customers in the region.
Our goal, in truth, is to try re capture a little of the Trolltech spirit, in ethics, quality of service delivery and culture.
In the words of the Blues Brothers, “Were getting the band back together”.

We have a passion for Qt and our mission is to develop a trusted Professional Services business and further fuel Software development innovations within Australia and New Zealand.

So, if you know Aussie or Kiwi Software professionals requiring Qt/QML/Qt3D Training or Engineering Support, then please let them know they now have a local option and point them toward www.qtomac.com

Its good to be back! 

    Kind regards,
    Gerard.
