Qt 5.2 Seemless Video Looping on Windows

I have a Qt project I am working on that requires seamless video looping. I was very excited when I saw the QT framework and thought this could be achieved through it. So far I have not been able to make a video seamlessly loop. If I set playback mode to loop there is about a 1 second time frame where the video drops and is reloaded. I am working in C++ with Qt so if anyone could help point me in the right direction to achieve what I am looking for that would be great.
EDIT:
I am currently using the Media Player / VideoWidget Method of displaying video playback. I have begone trying the Video Graphics Item method to see if I can get a better result.
