Problems running Qt programs remotely

Here's the situation:

I ssh into my Linux machine from my Windows machine, using putty.
Then, I start Creator (or any Qt program that I've built), and the program pops up on my Windows screen (I'm using Reflection X as an X-server).

What happens then is that I can click on a pull-down menu, and it pulls down, but only once.
Next time I try to pull that menu down nothing happens.

Hmmm.. Works fine when I am at the Linux box's console.

Any hints???
