I am new to Qt.when a button click in a form, then browse a file from the directory and show it grid in qt,how it is possible?[ie,how a file browse in our system?]Which control is used?What is the code?

My application is Log Analysis,developing a log analyzer tool for analysing the different types of log file .In fist step how to extract the fields from the log file?If any algorithm or any parsing methods?
