Debug assertion in stl algorithms when using vertical stlyesheets

I'm using Qt 5.2 with VS 2008 and I get an "Expression: sequence not ordered" assertion in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\include\algorithm" line 2262 when executing the following code:

@
QScrollBar* pDummy = new QScrollBar(this);
pDummy->setStyleSheet("QScrollBar:vertical{}");
@

The following code works without throwing an exception:

@
QScrollBar* pDummy = new QScrollBar(this);
pDummy->setStyleSheet("QScrollBar:horizontal{}");
@

Can anyone reproduce this problem?

i doubt that this posted code of yours causes the assertion.
And i also couldn't reproduce it btw.
