    Hi there,

I contacted ovi support (giving me them an IMEI for testing) for submitting a small app to ovi store, so they sent me a certificate, a key, a certificate installer and some UIDs.

I installed the installer on my test device and changed the UID with a specified one in the .pro file.
I signed the application using the .cert and .key file using the qt creator projects tab and then ran the program in release mode.

    I always get this error:

    bq. Application is untrusted etc...

bq. Unable to install protected application from an untrusted supplier.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

No idea if that actually helps but did you have a look at these pages?

These pages describe how to sign an app using command line.

I used Qt creator's project settings UI to do it. I suppose it's the same as command line..
