Project specific help in Qt Creator

  • Is there a way to add a "project specific" help file in Qt?

I'm generating a .qhp help file for "internal" classes in a certain (large) project, and I really want to enable "F1" lookup into that help file only when I'm working on the project in question. Also, if I check out several parallel versions of the project via a version control system, and open them in Qt Creator, I want the help files for all of them to be available, with any lookup directed to the "correct" version.

Is there any way to achieve this? Actually, if I could use variables like %{sourceDir} when adding a documentation file, the problem would be mostly solved, but it looks like this isn't possible...

No, there is no way to do that currently.

As a work-around you could start with different configurations for each project by passing "-settingspath /some/dir". That is not really convenient, but that way you could register the correct documentation for that project.
