Visual Studio Shell
-
Many projects (IronPython or F# for example) offer integration for Visual Studio Shell which can be downloaded for free:

Can you consider doing integration for Visual Studio Shell?

What would you like to see integrated with visual studio shell?

I would like to see project templates for Qt application just like in the current Visual Studio Add-in. Qt Quick integration is also nice. The Visual Studio Shell is free while the current Qt Visual Studio Add-in requires paid Visual Studio versions. If you can have a plugin for Visual Studio Shell, it would reduce the cost of using Qt in Visual Studio and help spread the popularity of Qt. The Visual Studio Shell does not come with any languages or compilers. I think you can require users to install the Visual C++ SDK. I am more familiar with Visual Studio and I would like to see a production environment for Qt in Visual Studio without paying for Visual Studio professional as Visual C++ Express does not support plugin.

Have you considered to file a wishlist bug for this? If you enter the idea in the "bugtracker":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com it will not get lost and others can vote on it.
Of course, it's not a guarantee for implementation.
