I cannot step into Qt sourcecode with this version of QtCreator. Windows 7, MINGW gcc 4.4.0

I've a working 2010.05 release (containing Qt 4.7). The debug libs are present and the source code is there, too. When I look into the loaded modules I can see that the 2010.05 debug dlls are loaded. With QtCreator 2.0.1 shipped with the 2010.05 I can step into the Qt Source code when debugging. With QtCreator 2.8 this is not possible. Kit, Qt version and compiler are all setup using the 2010.05 release. Same project.

    Any ideas?

    This, Jen, is the internet.

Open a bugreport on bugreport.qt-projects.org and attach the debugger log (contents of the right pane of Windows->Views->Debugger Log), preferably for both the new and the old setup.

I Installed Qt SDK Qt5.1.1. I installed sources, too, but still cannot step into Qt. Should this run out-of the box? Used the current offline installer for MINGW Qt.

"This setup":http://qt-project.org/wiki/Building_Qt_Desktop_for_Windows_with_MinGW worked some time ago for me.

        Please see this "reference":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTCREATORBUG-10071.

I am still confused. Some Ideas?

          • current gdb (> 7.2)
          • adjust sourcepath assignment in the debugger menu
