This may reveal my ignorance, but is there anyway to run a QML ui layer on top of a Java application?

It’s not really even as we are considering it, we are just lacking manpower to implement it for initial 4.7 release. So it will come, sooner or later.

By the way, if Jambi is new thing for you, I’d be interested in how it worked for you.

I would be happy to use it as soon as it integrates with QML. Wish I could help.

            Surely you can :)

Anything, you read right, anything regarding this would be helpful. I’m not really sure where to start looking, but if you can point me what you actually need to do, I can give some hints how it could be done.

What I would really like to do is run QML and Java on an openembedded linux display unit. Unfortunately I don't have the experience behind me to be able to accomplish this.
