Problem with .ui file, Qt, windows 8

I got a friend that cant go into the .ui file in creator. He is using qt5.0.0 and vs 2010 professional. the qt5 link in the downloads. there was no problem at all to install vs or qt it's only when pressing on that damm .ui file. He is using a windows 8 computer.

Have you tried opening it in designer?

C:\Qt\Qt5.0.0\5.0.0\msvc2010\bin\designer.exe
