I just made a new Qt 5.0 rc2 installation on windows 7 laptop. It seems that compilers are not linked. I am getting this error:

:-1: error: Qt Creator needs a compiler set up to build. Configure a compiler in the kit options.

I tried to configure the compile path in the kit options, but I can't find the executables (gcc.exe ...).

BTW, I had the same problem with Qt 5.0 rc1. Could anyone point me out to a compiler (MinGW or MSVC2010/2011... the one that work)?

        Thanks for the reply billouparis.

It seem that you can't use MinGW compiler for Qt 5.0 yet. But I just got it to work after downloading/installing MSVS 2010 Express. I hat to go to option->Build&Run->Compiler and set/add one of the compilers manually.

I did use it to compile Qt5 RC1 sources with no problem, and I am currently using it to compile RC2... So far so good.

            billouparis,
My mistake, I meant build with* Qt 5 ... not to compile Qt 5 sources. It seems that you can't use MinGW with Qt 5.0 rc2. But I guess I should wait the final version to ask...
