I have been trying to get this to work since yesterday. I am trying to create some simple GUI using C++.
I went to: http://qt-project.org/downloads
and downloaded: Qt libraries 4.8.4 for Windows (VS 2008, 233 MB).
When I install this all I get is QT assistant and QT designer. I am trying to do some of the basic tutorial exercises found on youtube videos but I am not sure how they set everything up in QT creator. I tried to download the creator separately but I was unable to create a QT project in it. I am completely new to this, is there anyway someone can provide a guide on getting this to work in windows 7?
Also most of the videos on youtube seem outdated as they simply show the user going to a nokia website and installing an SDK, and then everything is automatically setup. Does this still exist?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and lo! there is the old SDK.
But probably faster way is to open Qt Creator, options->Build & Run->Qt Versions and add the qmake binary that was bundled with Qt libraries you have installed.
