QtCreator fails with Segmentation Fault.

  • Hi,

I have installed Qt Creator 2.6.0 on CentOS 5.8-64 bit through source code.
Whenever I am trying to run "qtcreator" it does not starts, when ran from terminal it says "Segmentation Fault". What could be the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

Please get a backtrace and "file a bug report": !

Unfortunately there is little to know without a backtrace.

  • Sorry Sir, but can you tell me how can I get backtrace in CentOS, as I am new to linux.

  • Moderators has a good introduction on how to debug on Linux. It is pretty generic and should apply to all software. I hope that helps!

  • Hi, I am also getting the same error for QT creator and QxtLib as well. Can you give me the solution to fix this?

Output of Linux for QxtLib configure

    @ ./configure -release -no-zeroconf -verbose
