A project compiled with qt 4.7.4 uses external dll without any problem and works fine. The same project compiled with qt 4.8.1 crashes on startup.
Have you got any suggestion for me?

Is the dll compiled with the same compiler (MinGW vs MSVC) that you're using for 4.8.1?

Yes. I talking about ffmpeg libraries that has been compiled with mingw. In this case I can compile and run the project without any problem with qt 4.7.4 (from sdk, already compiled). With Qt 4.8.1 from sdk (already compiled) and with Qt 4.8.3 (compiled by myself) does not work.

When you run the app in the debugger, where does it indicate the crash is occurring?

Only an "unknow error". See the screenshot at http://www.denisgottardello.it/test02.jpg .
Is not a problem about the location of the dlls. If I move those to another folder I obtain a different error.
