In Windows I can't compile any project with resource file.
Have you got any suggestion for me?

Do you mean a Qt resource file, or a Windows .rc file?

          The compiler is mingw4.
I'm talking about Qt resource file.
I can create a new qt gui project and compile it. But if I add to the project a resource file then is impossible to compile.
Can you try with your pc?

No. I can't. -It is extremely unlikely that this is some sort of universal problem.- [Edit: Ok, maybe it is. -- ml]

What do you mean by "impossible to compile?" As Vass said above, please tell how you're adding things, what errors you're getting, share your .pro file, or at least do something to give some more insight into your situation.

              Ok. Read below the steps:

              • qt creator -> new project -> qt gui application (choose and save in a new folder)
              • run (the application run without any problem)
              • now add to the project a Qt Resource file (empty or not, is the same)
              • Now try to build and run. You will have an error. See the attached screenshot.

What does the "Compile Output" window have in it?

Actually, it looks like it may be related to "this bug":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-27237 (in which case, I take back my "not a universal problem" statement from earlier -- apologies for that.)

                    [release/qrc_file01.cpp] Error 2

That file does not exists and will never be generated. (On Linux all works well.)

                      bq. [release/qrc_file01.cpp] Error 2

That's from the "Issues" panel, which doesn't give as much information as the "Compiler Output" window. Probably a moot point, now, though (see link to bug report above.)

My fear is that the bug report is not clear because my english is very bad (now I'm doing an English course).
