First of all, download the Qt SDK from the download page or Qt library and Qt Creator individually.

Next, you could start examining the learning materials provided here:
      http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/gettingstartedqt.html

      The recommended offline reading is:
      "Foundations of Qt development":http://www.cuteqt.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/1590598318.pdf

"C++ GUI Programming with Qt 4":http://www.cuteqt.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/c-gui-programming-with-qt-4-2ndedition.pdf

      "Advanced Qt Programming":http://www.cuteqt.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/Advanced_Qt_Programming.pdf

The good practice is an Book + doing Tutorials for each book topic.
You can get more info about existing learning materials on this page: http://qt.digia.com/Product/Learning/

Here are the list of books: http://qt-project.org/books
Good book for beginners is a "Programming with Qt, Second Edition":http://qt-project.org/books/view/programming_with_qt_second_edition

But if you have no practice in other dev languages, you should probably start with 学"Qt4编程 (Zero-based learning Qt4 Programming)":http://qt-project.org/books/view/qt4_zero_based_learning_qt4_programming

God is Real unless explicitly declared as Integer.

Read a book on C++ programming

          Go through the Qt tutorials

Use the documentation extensively once you understood the basics.
