      Hi,
I have just started learning qt.For now,its enough for me to see the results in my windows environment.Im using winXP.
Since the offline package is 1.3 GB I cant download it,is there a smaller package for my needs?Or can I use devc++ for coding qt?
      Thanks

You can use any IDE for Qt you want, or even no IDE at all

Is your problem that you can't download it in a single go?

I cannot download because of slow and limited connection.

Well, the source package is about 250 MB, but building it is not really a beginner topic.

You could try to download and install using the online installer. It will only install the parts you select, which will be considerably smaller than 1,3G if you only select the IDE and the mingw version the libs.

Would it help you at all if someone created a torrent for you? I am also living in a country where fast broadband with unlimited bandwidth is extremely expensive, but perhaps someone else here could help you out with this.
