Qt start up issues

I am developing an application for symbian devices. I installed Qt SDk 4.7.0 for symbian S60 and also Qt mobility 1.1.0. The qt creator version i use is 2.2.0.
Even before writing a single line of code, the build process reports around 51 errors in the qstring.h and qvector.h files. Any idea how to get past this?

Why don't you use "Qt SDK version 1.2.1":http://qt.nokia.com/downloads ? It includes:
- Qt libraries version 4.8.1
- Qt Creator IDE version 2.4.1
- Qt Mobility version 1.2
If you have the same issues with Qt SDK 1.2.1 please post the error log.

i am using the previous versions because the application has to run on an e72, even though for that you require QtSDK 4.6.3 and Qt Mobility 1.0.2, i read that the application will work just fine with the current specs. Presently i am reinstalling the whole SDk as well as mobility components.

You can use "Qt SDK 1.1.2":http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/84801bfe-8517-4287-9829-014c6f572127/Qt_SDK_1_1_2.html if you need Qt 4.6.3
