Escape key on a QTableView

Hello, I have a problem concerning the action of the escape key on my QTableView.
Actually, I would like when the user presses the escape key on a cell which have a opened editor, it close it directly. The problem is the event is over all sent to the editor. So we have to press the escape key twice.
How can I fix this problem please?

isntall an eventfilter on the editor and handle the key before it is delivered to the editor.
